Quantum Computing
Figure out the earliest use cases for quantum computing (Spoiler Alert: Probably everything). As soon as AWS or one of the other 48 companies chasing some version of Quantum, they’ll need to offer access to some form of it to fund their obvious ascension into world domination. I’m figuring that when Quantum gets here we’ll be like, yeah, go ahead and capitalize Quantum.
Companies need to leverage it, naturally, the skillset to integrate and harness it will take years to arrive in-house. This means they need a consulting firm that has a relationship with a Quantum Source (AWS, IBM, etc) that isn’t planning to keep it to itself (the Raytheons, or Lockheed Martins of the world)
Government EDI
We should be experiencing another upswing in digital government capabilities with the new administration. Access, processing, payment, scheduling are all on the table if the APIs and data continue to open doors to exponential efficiency in previously stunted sectors like education, medical commerce, etc.
School districts facilitate government-sponsored services. It is very labor-intensive so the potential savings close the deal for you.
Blockchain
There are countless use cases for blockchain to improve not just the systems around us but to actually change lives. Perhaps the GameStop stock chaos is avoided with blockchain technology driving order settlement. Elections can actually become decentralized and thus secure. Imagine that.
